Joy Consulting Group was established by Alan Joy in 1990 to service the demand for specialised consulting services in the areas of traffic engineering, road and traffic safety and traffic crash investigation.

Since 1990 Joy Consulting Group has consulted to State and local road authorities, public utility providers, property owners and developers and various works contractors on a broad range of traffic/transportation and road safety issues.

Joy Consulting Group also provides specialised services in relation to legal issues arising from traffic and transportation matters.  Alan Joy is highly respected by the legal profession for his expertise in crash investigation, analysis and  reconstruction, and for his expert witness services in civil and criminal jurisdictions.

Since commencing operation Joy Consulting has provided assistance in more than 3,500 matters including  Motor Accident personal injury matters, vehicle damage claims, traffic offences, traffic safety reviews, traffic and parking studies, major road transport disaster investigations, motor sport and “off-road” accidents, and accidents involving mobile mining, agricultural and industrial plant.
